Recently we noticed some fresh celebrity faces on the red carpet at the Metropolitan Opera for the premiere of Manon. The celebrity fashionistas that attended the event all wore dresses from the YSL collection, which was a nice touch for the swank event. While the dresses were Beautiful, we were more impressed with the hair and makeup looks. So, check out how to get the beauty looks below.
First we loved Chloe Mortez in this tiered tulle navy blue and black YSL gown. The Kick Ass star wore the stunning strapless and paired it with a black choker. Get this look for less, try Max & Cleo deep purple taffeta rosette trim strapless dress, $79.99. For her hair Chloe basically went with a sleek pulled back ponytail. Achieve this look by combing through and brushing your hair together. Then spray some oil sheen all over the hair for that shiny gloss. Last apply a small amount of alcohol free gel to your edges and sides, brush hair into place and secure it. Voila! Mortez also rocked a dewy natural make up look which we’ve covered in another article.
Amber Heard has been turning a lot of heads lately with her gorgeous red carpet looks. She didn’t disappoint at the Metropolitan Opera either. The glam actress wore a floor length halter dress with a revealing cross strap open back YSL design. Get this look for less, try Rachel Pally Long Cutout Dress, $238. You can achieve her makeup look with a dark brown brow lining pencil, shimmering eyeshadow base, some lash extending mascara and a bright red lip color of your choice. We really loved Amber’s faux hawk bun with rockabilly high gangs!
Emma Roberts incorporated a little bit of old and new Hollywood into her red carpet look. The budding actress wore a strapless YSL jumpsuit with and embellished metallic red statement belt. Get this look for less, try Rebecca Taylor Be Back Leather Trim Jumper, $350. Get Roberts look by creating a cat eye and only use a liquid foundation with a bit of powder to set the foundation and leave your cheeks bare. Apply a naturals plum color to your lips and skip the gloss. Last create a part at the side of your head, body weave the top of the hair and put some 40’s pin curls at the bottom of the hair.
Next Emmy Rossum really shined on the YSL Met red carpet wearing a daringly colorful electric purple strapless satin evening gown with a thigh high slit. Get this look for less, try Black Halo Jill Dress, $310. Rossum like Chloe also paired her dress with a choker, only Rossum’s accessory is decorated with two leaves.
